The Sapera Family
Eileen Wattigny Sapera prided herself on being a Navy wife, a mother of three, grandmother of five, and a teacher. She loved an active life and spending time with her friends playing golf and tennis. Eileen was known for her poise, gracious spirit and devotion to her college sweetheart and husband, Len Sapera.
She made a lasting impact on every community she was involved in, and spent over 33 years of her life in Athens. In acknowledgement for the generosity and the outpouring of support in Eileen’s memory, Len’s philanthropic contribution to the Main Tower campaign is recognized with the dedication of the information desk in the Townley Family Lobby at Piedmont Athens Regional.
